- Updated Solicitation of FA4801-18-Q-1072, Motor Generator Repair This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR s ubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation FA4801-18-Q-1072 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ ). This announcement will be issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. This requirement is a total small business set aside. The anticipated award will be a firm -f ixed -p rice c ontract, the award will be made based on the lowest price d offer received. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-9 8, 31 May 2018. P rovisions and clauses may be obtained via internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. The small business size standard for this code is $7,500,000. CLIN 0001 Marathon Electric Motor Generator Repair. POP 45 days ADC. IAW SOW 3 May 2018 (Attached). All items shall be delivered FOB Destination to Holloman AFB, NM 88330. **A site visit is scheduled for 1400h (2:00pm) MT 28 June 2018, Report to the Holloman AFB Visitor Center no later than 1345 to check in. The equipment to be viewed generates loud noise. It is recommended, though not required, to bring hearing protection. Hearing protection will not be provided. OMBUDSMAN (JUN 2016) (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. "Document type" means the type of payment request or receiving report available for creation in Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF). "Local processing office (LPO)" is the office responsible for payment certification when payment certification is done external to the entitlement system. •(b) Electronic invoicing.
