Description
The solicitation will be available at: https://www.fbo.gov on or about July 16th, 2018. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED, AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park intends to issue a solicitation for the inspection, assessment and cleaning of four (4) potable water tanks within Mount Rainier National Park. The performance may be performed with divers, remote inspection robot, or a combination of both. The assessment will include generation of reports detailing any maintenance requirements identified and any material pumping requirements which may result in a follow on requirement to be determined at that time. All work will be performed under a single Firm-Fixed Price construction contract subject to the Wage Rate Requirements for Construction, formally known as the Davis-Bacon wage rates. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is less than $25,000. Reservoir IDCapacity (Gallons) Type Nisqually Entrance Water Tank:74,000 Gallon Bolted Glass fused Steel; located approximately 9 miles east of Ashford, Washington off of State Route 706. Longmire Water Tank (1); 100,000 Gallon; welded steel; located approximately 12 miles east of Ashford, Washington off of State Route 706. Longmire Water Tank (2); 100,000 Gallon capacity; bolted steel; located approximately 15 miles east of Ashford, Washington off of State Route 706. Cougar Rock Water Tank:40,000 Gallon; welded steel; located approximately 17 miles east of Ashford, Washington off of State Route 706. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 2213100 and the business size standard is $27.5 million, average annual gross receipts for the past three years. The period of performance will be 30 days after issuance of the notice to proceed, the estimated performance is to occur between August 27 and September 26, 2018.
