- Department of Health and Human Services, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, 6710B Rockledge Drive, Room 1155A, Bethesda, MD 20817. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) plans to procure on a sole source basis with Gatan Inc., 5794 W. Las Positas Blvd. Pleasanton, CA 94588 USA for Slea Cryo-TRansfer Holder. Cryo-transfer holder is required to load cryo-em samples and keep the samples at cryogenic temperature for cryo-em data collection. This new designed Elsa cryo-transfer holder can hold the liquid nitrogen for up to 8 hours. With this holder and automatic data collection software, NIDDK cryo-em facility users can run the experiments through overnight which will greatly improve the efficiency of all the cryo-em research projects. Elsa cryo-transfer holder is a newly designed cryo-em holder which is required for cryo-em work. It has a Dewar that can hold liquid nitrogen to keep the cryo-em samples, which is loaded onto the tip of the holder, at cryogenic temperature for up to 8 hours. To keep the sample at cryogenic temperature is crucial for collecting cryo-em images. Expected deliverables: Elsa Cryo-Transfer Holder, Valve Upgrade Kit (Elsa), Elsa Installation In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; all responses received, before the closing date, of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the RFQ NICHD-18-083 will be available ten (10) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due five (5) days after the release of the RFQ. All interested parties to this solicitation may request a copy of the RFQ package via email verne.griffin@nih.gov. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties' bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov." Third party repair vendor to provide a signed agreement with the OEM to provide certified technicians and OEM parts. All requests must contain solicitation number NICHD-18-083, offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number.
