- CRATE DEMENSIONS Amendment 1 THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE has been changed to 23 July 2018 due to a request for a site visit. SITE VISIT INFORMATION A site visit is scheduled for 16 July 2018 at 1PM The site visit will convien at the Hope Hotel at Wright Patterson AFB. Offerors interested in attending the site visit are allowed 2 representatives. If interested in attebding please contact Joseph Glenn by 1 PM 9 July 2018 for further information. The following changes have been made to the solicitation provision FAR 52.212-2: 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2014) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Each proposal submitted by an interested contractor will be evaluated for technical capabilities by the Govenment. Listed below are the requirements a contractor needs to provide to be determined technically acceptable. Factor 1: Technical Description: This factor will evaluate the offeror's prior experience for a minimum of three relevant moving and relocation contracts/jobs performed within five years of the issue date of the solicitation, with the following qualifiers for each job: 1. Moving and relocating oversize heavy objects 2. Moving and relocating oversize heavy objects on paved roads For each relevant moving and relocation contract/job described, provide the following administrative data: 1. Company/Division Name 2. Program Title 3. Contracting Agency 4. Contract Number 5. Type of Contract (Fixed Price) 6. Dates Performed 7. Contract Value (including any option years) Measure of Merit : This factor is met when the offeror clearly demonstrates relative experience in at least three jobs performed within five years of the issue date of the solicitation; both (or all) job descriptions include the details of both qualifiers, all administrative data were provided for each job, and the response indicates a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of each job. Factor 2: Price 1. Offers will be evaluated for completeness and fair and reasonableness. 　 All evaluation factors are equal in importance. (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. There are approximately 50 crates of varying sizes and weights. What is the total number of crates requiring shrink wrap? The two biggest crates will be shrink wrapped. What is the estimated value of the property? The estimated value is invaluable. Historic artifacts, can't be replaced.
