- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)Solicitation 140R3018Q0201 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-99. (iv)This requirement will be small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code this acquisition is 324110 Petroleum Lubricating Oil and Grease Manufacturing. The small business size standard in number of employees is 1,500. (v)Line Items - 010 - Delivery of a total of 25,200 gallons of off-road red dye diesel in 7 deliveries/3,600 gallons per delivery. Delivery schedule will be provided at time of award. Provide a firm fixed price quote. (vi)The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Yuma Area Office (YAO) has a requirement for the delivery of a total of 25,200 gallons of off-road red dye diesel in 7 deliveries/3,600 gallons per delivery to the Laguna Restoration Project, a dredging project in tribal land located in Winterhaven, CA. Delivery location is in an area approximately 40 miles along the Colorado River within the Imperial Counties. GPS coordinates: 32 ° 49' 56.67"N 114 ° 29' 17.30" W. Delivery is expected approximately every two weeks to be delivered on a three day notice and will be made to two (2) above ground tanks which holds 4900 and 2000 gallons. Only bobtail trucks, small semi-truck tanker, or tank wagon can deliver to these tanks due to the narrow location of the tanks. The requirement will be accomplished via issuance of a firm fixed price purchase order. The period of performance is anticipated to start in July 2018 and end approximately in September 2018. Delivery schedule will be provided at time of award. Award will be based on the lowest, responsive, responsible offeror.
