Description
QUESTIONS SUBMITTED FOR W911SG-18-Q-0051; TENT RENTAL FT BLISS Q1. Is there any additional tents not outlined in the scope, such as a dining tent? A1. There are no additional tents included in the scope of this requirement. Requirements for other tents are being procured separately. Q2. Is there a site layout that can be sent to me regarding how these tents are required to be laid out? A2. A tentative site layout for Dona Ana has been uploaded; however, this is subject to change. An updated layout will be provided for Muleskinner and Dona Ana as soon as possible. Please note that this layout does not indicate number of tents required. It only illustrates positioning of tent space available. It is up to the contractor how many tents they will provide to meet the requirements per the PWS. Q3. Is there a preference on how many generators are on site and where they are positioned? Is there any distance from the tent that the generator must be located due to safety, etc.? A3. There is no preference on the number of generators on site as long as they can generate power to support the requirement per the PWS. Generators cannot be closer than 10 feet to the tent. Q4. Are doors required or are flaps to be used as doors? A4. Doors are not requirement. The tent shall close and block rain and wind. Q5. Will there be space to offload and stage equipment as it arrives on site? A5. Yes, there will be space to offload and stage equipment. Q6. Would there be any space available for a vendor to setup an area to park (2) mobilie sleeper units that could house up to 60 people as well as a mobile shower unit in order to be able to lodge on-site, or in close proximity during setup period? A6. No, there will not be enough space to accomodate this magnitutde of on-site support from the vendor. Q7. Will we have access to water for our HVAC systems? A7. There will be access to bulk water tanks. There will not be access to continuous water hook ups. Also, there may be a fee for the water - the bulk water tanks may be metered. Q8. How will quotes be submitted? A8. Quotes shall be emailed to Karyn Williams at karyn.m.williams2.civ@mail.mil.
