Amendment 01 dated FRI 29 JUNE 2018 as follows : The sole purpose of this amendment is to change the proposal due date to MON 30 JULY 2018, this is an extension of 30 days as follows: WAS: 02 JULY 2018 IS: 30 JULY 2018 End of Amendment 01 dated FRI 29 JUNE 2018 This acquisition is to obtain a Firm-fixed price contract for the purpose of Overhauling 125 units, NOUN: Main Rotor Servo Cylinder Assembly Stock Number (NSN): 1650011879395HL, Part Number ( PN): 205-076-056-107 which are applicable to the TH-1H Helicopter. There will be one (1) Basic Ordering Period and four (4) Option Quantity Periods. The required delivery schedule is one (1) of the assets with a Turn-Around-Time of Ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of funded order or asset to be overhauled, whichever is later. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures in its solicitation for the described services. The government will satisfy this requirement via a "small business set aside" per FAR 19.5. According to FAR 19.502-2(b)(1)&(2), the contracting officer shall set aside any acquisition over $150,000 for small business participation when there is a reasonable expectation that (1) offers will be obtained from at least two responsible small business concerns offering the products of different small business concerns, and (2) award will be made at fair market prices. Both of these factors exist in the current market with regard to the specific services needed to satisfy this agency need. This solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP). Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Data or rights are not owned by the Government for this solicitation. To request a copy of this solicitation, go to http://www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. This will be a small business set-aside. Any interested parties/vendors must submit a (Source) pre-qualification package to Troy Winebarger, Contract Officer, and Troy Winebarger@us.af.mil solicitation. Any sources(s) that do become qualified, will then be considered for any potential future awards. The anticipated Solicitation issue date will be 24 May 2018 with an estimated response date for receipt of proposals is 25 June 2018. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All proposals shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit a proposal.
