Description
Wage Rates Attachment 5 Wage Rates Attachment 4 Wage Rates Attachment 3 Wage Rates Attachment 2 Wage Rates attachment 1 Brake and Annual Inspections on Crane Link-Belt LS218H, serial number B6LJ0-3653. The crane is equipped with a boom hoist and two drum hoists. The work shall be to evaluate the condition of the crane's brake systems in the manner prescribed by the manufacturer's recommendations for 500-hour maintenance as set forth in the Operator's manual, and shall also include work set-forth in section 2.2 below. In addition to the 500 hour brake system inspection there shall also be an annual inspection of the LS2 l 8 in accordance with section 16 of the Safety and Health Requirements manual EM385-1-1, applicable ASME standards, OSHA regulations and manufactures recommendations. The contractor shall supply all tools, gauges, reference materials, materials and supplies necessary to complete the work described herein. Electrical power will be supplied by the Government, if requested by the contractor. Cost of travel and temporary lodging and per diem, if any, shall be borne by the contractor. Brake system disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and adjustment. Perform the following inspections and adjustments, including disassembly and reassembly as required, on the front and rear brake drums: -Remove the entire braking system and disassemble clean all components -Inspect all components -Check brake bands for bending, indentations, or cracking Check linings for wear and loose rivets -Inspect pins and bolts for wear or rust -Perform any other 500 hour brake system inspections prescribed by the manufacturer -Reassemble brake system Adjust brakes and install covers Annual inspection The contractor shall complete an annual inspection of the LS2 l 8 inaccordance with documents identified above in the General statement The contractor shall supply a report within 7 calendar days that records the findings of the inspection. The report shall include a list of systems and components evaluated, the condition of each system and item inspected, the date work was performed, and the name of the person performing the inspection. Only the work identified in this scope of work is authorized. No additional work shall be authorized without prior approval of the contracting officer. A separate work order shall be generated for the purchase of repairs or replacement parts that may be required.
