Pre-Solicitation Notice (Intent to Sole-Source) The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 10), Cincinnati, Ohio 45220-2637 intends to solicit a request for quotation to award a sole-source contract for eICU ® sustainment support for one (1) Tele-ICU command center for VISN-10 located at VAMC Cincinnati and one-hundred ninety-one (191) participating beds located in VISN-7 and VISN-10 from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019 summarized as follows: eICU ® sustainment for one (1) Tele-ICU Command Center located at VAMC Cincinnati eICU ® sustainment for one-hundred ninety-one (191) Tele-ICU participating beds: VISN-7 | Twelve (12) beds located in the Medical ICU at VAMC Atlanta in Atlanta, GA VISN-7 | Twelve (12) beds located in the Surgical ICU at VAMC Atlanta in Atlanta, GA VISN-7 | Twenty (2) beds located in the ICU at VAMC Charlie Norwood in Augusta, GA VISN-7 | Eight (8) beds located in the Cardiac Care ICU at VAMC Birmingham in Alabama VISN-7 | Ten (10) beds located in the Medical ICU at VAMC Birmingham in Alabama VISN-7 | Ten (10) beds located in the Surgical ICU at VAMC Birmingham in Alabama VISN-7 | Eight (8) beds located in the ICU at VAMC Central Alabama HCS West in Montgomery VISN-7 | Eight (8) beds located in the Medical ICU at VAMC Ralph H. The government anticipates that sustainment support for future eICU ® requirements will be solely provided by Philips Electronics North America Corporation. The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates the award of a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Philips Electronics North America Corporation on or about 29 June 2018 at 1500-EST for the requirement described above. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 with a size standard of $27.5 million dollars. This requirement has been posted on FBO as a combined synopsis/solicitation to provide notification of intent to award a sole-source contract which is being executed under the authority of FAR part 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements).
