THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to perform Replace Roof B47, Sections C & D for the Charles George Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville NC 28805. The Estimated Magnitude of Construction for the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The proposed NAICS 238160 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $15.0 Million. This project will consist of, but not be limited to, the removal of the existing roofing systems of Building 47 Sections C & D. The existing roof system will be replaced with a new 60 mil TPO fully-adhered membrane roof system including new tapered high thermal insulation system, corresponding flashing and new pre-engineered perimeter edge metals and will meet all manufacturers recommendations to obtain the required warranty. Ballast will be removed from roof and VA property. The lightning protection system will be removed and reinstalled and a master label will be obtained for the entire building 47 and ACA. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Your response is required by 3:00 PM EST on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
