Description

**ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. ** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Script-Pro Data Drops Install The Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Health Care System (West-LA) has a requirement for the installation of Script-Pro Compatible Data Drops. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services to install approximately 131 new data drops to include but not limited to the following: CAT 5 cables, Panduit faceplates, Panduit communication jacks, labeling, ties, hangers and mounts. All terminations are to be landed in accordance with attached drawings to the solicitation. These drops will be installed in accordance with industry standards as they will each provide direct support to the Script-Pro dispensary machines and equipment, currently in use throughout the VA-LACC. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. The GLAVAHCS (West LA) requires that the contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services for the installation of the data drops. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: GREATER LOS ANGELES VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (GLAVAHCS): Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System West LA VAMC: 11301 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90073 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 238210 Electrical Work. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $15M.   The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in July 2018. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN WHAT IS NOTED HEREIN.
