- Solicitation amendment which includes a summary of changes and an updated PWS. This solicitation is for parachute repairs on 66 total RA-1 parachute systems. The MC-6 reserve parachute WILL NOT be included in this solicitation. Only the the RA-1 main parachute system will require repairs and repacking. Additional details are located in the performance work statement located at the bottom of the attached SF 1449 Solicitation. The government will be transporting the parachute systems to and from the awarded vendors location in order to reduce the chances of shipping related errors that could incur major cost to the government. Due to this, all offerors must be within a 500 mile radius of Davis-Monthan AFB in order for the government to transport the parachutes via GOV. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price contract, FOB Origin. Delivery terms 9 weeks ADC. All questions will be due by 1200 12JUL2018 and will answered by 1200 13JUL2018.
