Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Announcement The Alexandria VA HealthCare System Medical Center in Pineville, LA is issuing an Open Market RFQ IAW FAR 13.106 for Purchase of Custom Case Carts for Instrument Transport and Sterilization. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 339113 Surgical and Medical Appliance Manufacturing. This is a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must be registered in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Statement of Work/Salient Characteristics: SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR CUSTOM CASE CARTS FOR INSTRUMENT STORAGE TRANSPORT STERILIZATION Background: The Alexandria VA Medical Cent currently utilizes these case carts to transport instruments to and from different areas through out the hospital as needed on a daily basis Project Scope: This project is to replace old worn out case carts that have broken handles, broken or missing casters and missing doors LINE ITEM QUANITY UNIT OF ISSUE 1 D2-Custom 20 ea Enclosed medical grade Stainless Steel case cart Two pull out shelves, SS Seal Casters that can withstand water temperatures 190*+ and detergents Custom Dumb-Waiter High. Can t be wider than 47 taller than 42, no deeper than 29. Must include 8.5 x 11 card holder on 1 of the shorter end of the case cart. Warranty and Support: The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in with 2 year manufacturer s warranty Delivery Location: Alexandria VA Medical Center 2495 Highway 71 Pineville LA 71360 Part numbers are provided for the Distrubution Systems Internatiional (DSI) components for illustrative and placeholder purposes. Equal items can be quoted if sufficient information for comparison is provided with the quote. The technically acceptable quote with the lowest price will obtain the award. This RFQ closes on 24 July 2018 at Noon Central Time. Quotes may be submitted via email to paul.filhiol@va.gov.
