- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, New York Water Science Center has a requirement for the drilling and construction of 16-46 groundwater monitoring wells in designated locations on Long Island, New York. The drilling project will take place over a five-year period. The work will include, but not be limited to the following: Well drilling, core sampling, logging, installation of casing and well screen, filter pack, grouting, and clean-up and site restoration. The Contractor will be required to utilize ¿REVERT ¿ Organic Polymer Drilling Fluid Additive, as distributed by Johnson Screens, Inc., or equal, for all rotary drilling called for in the contract. The project magnitude is between $7.5-10 million. Proposals are being requested under Request for Proposals 140G0118R0041, which will be posted at Fedbizopps.gov and FedConnect.net on or about 07/20/2018. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the posting sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A statement of work, specifications, drawings, and other project information are not available for release at this time. No further information regarding the site visit is currently available; further details will be provided in the solicitation when it is issued. Proposals will be due on/about 08/21/2018 (exact date/time to be provided in the solicitation). The NAICS code is 237110 with a small business size standard of $36.5 mil.
