SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Description of Requirement: Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) is posting this Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of locating capable businesses to provide one Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Urology Physician Services (or pool of Urologists) during normal clinic hours and after normal clinic hours and weekend on-call services This is a contract for healthcare resources for Urology Physician Services to be furnished on-site at the James H. Quillen, VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN 37684. This requirement is for a base period of one-year with four one-year options to extend the period of performance. Urology physician(s) assigned to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property. Urology physician(s) shall be Board Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU), and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency. All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times. Documentation verifying current certification shall be provided by the Contractor to the VA COR on an annual basis for each year of contract performance. Urology physician(s) shall be available and present in clinic during normal James H. Quillen VA Medical Center clinic hours, which will be established, and may be revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the Chief of Staff. Normal clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday On-Call Coverage: Urology physician(s) shall be available on-call during all hours when the James H. Quillen VAMC s Urology clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Patients must be seen within 30 minutes of the page/call when medically indicated. Urology physician(s) care shall cover the range of Urology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards. Urology Physician shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the Government s requirements, to include the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. At this time TVHS is conducting market research, and seeking to locate possible providers for Urology Physician services, including any small business providers for these services. This Notice is for market research only and no award will be made from this Notice. FSC Code is: Q525. NAICS Code is: 621111.
