- Army Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) is hosting a training session for industry on 7/25/18 from 1300-1500 Eastern Time at the Taylor Building at 2530 Crystal Drive, Room 8122, Arlington (Crystal City), VA 22202. The session will provide an overview of the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs; an overview of the Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF); and instruction on how to register in, navigate through, search SBIR/STTR topics on, and submit SBIR/STTR proposals on the DoD website. THIS TRAINING IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES WHO ARE CONDUCTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY THAT THE ARMY MAY NEED. Due to limited seating, ATTENDANCE IN PERSON IS LIMITED TO ONE (1) ATTENDEE PER COMPANY. However, there is an opportunity to participate via teleconference if you are not in the geographical area. To register, e-mail Sharon.R.Morrow.civ@mail.mil. In the e-mail registration request, include 'Registration for 7/25/18 SBIR/STTR Training for Industry' in the title. In the body of the e-mail provide the name, e-mail address, company name, company socioeconomic status (i.e. SB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, EDWOSB, SDVOSB, VOSB), telephone number, and if available, mobile number of the attendee, and whether you will be attending in person or participating virtually through a teleconference. Registered attendees will received an e-mail confirmation with slide presentations and directions/access information to the venue or a dial-in number for the teleconference.
