- This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit to a Sole Source. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Drum, NY, 13602 intends to award a Sole Source Contract to HACH Corporation to provide all resources necessary to perform maintenance and repair on four HACH manufactured Guardian Blue Units, located at Fort Drum, NY. Mandatory Qualifications: All technicians shall be trained and certified by HACH Corporation, and be able to provide proof of certification. Additionally, interested companies shall have the capability to maintain equipment In Accordance With (IAW) HACH Standardized Maintenance Procedures; and be able to provide upgrades to the equipment when they are released. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 22130, Water Supply & Irrigation Systems; and Product Service Code (PSC) J046, Maintenance and Repair of Water Purification and Sewage Treatment Equipment. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements contract with an anticipated duration of a Twelve-Month Base Period, with Four Twelve-Month Option Periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Fort Drum is not seeking or requesting unsolicited proposals and will not accept telephone or fax inquiries. No solicitation exists and vendors should not request a copy of a solicitation.
