- Description
- Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) requires start-up services and operator training for vertical machining centers and lathes to fabricate various ship components. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Far 5.207(c)(15)). Pacific Wireless Communications Hawaii (PWC) is the only available commercial company in Hawaii with certified technicians to conduct work on the BDA system. PWC is also the sole distributor in Hawaii for Motorola products and an official Motorola Solutions Provider. The anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2018- July 31, 2019. Interested parties/potential offers may submit a written capability statement. Telephonic responses are not allowed. Written questions and/or comments are welcome. All responses must be received by the stated response date and time. This is not a request for proposals and contract will not be awarded in response to any written capability statements, questions, or comments received. Compensation will not be paid for any costs related to the preparation or submission of responses. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Goverment has sole discretion.
