Sources Sought Notice 36C25718Q9682 CTX CLC Mattresses This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources, small and other than small businesses, to perform a potential requirement. Respondents are required to be registered and in good standing in The System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1 Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS CODE: 337910 and sized standard is 1000 Employees. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: To provide mattresses to the Central Texas VA Healthcare System Community Living Center (CLC). See Salient Characteristics. Anticipated period of performance: 60 Days ARO Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: 1. A spec list/capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide the product required per the salient characteristics listed. The spec list shall address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of ability to provide. 2. The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, small, etc.) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; 3. Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. Please e-mail your response with the above information to toni.clendenen@va.gov with the subject line "Sources Sought, CTX CLC Mattresses /your company name" by Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00am CST. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to: 1. Provide product consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. So Flux top cover for easy of mobility of patient on the mattress Ddesigned to be used in combination with Skin Microclimate management cover sheet when necessary. Handles on mattress Head and foot end locking bars to secure mattress to adjustable frame. Magnetic bottom cover attributes to prevent mattress slippage during foot of bed adjustments. Capacity of 500lbs Foam perimeter to enhances protection from frame upon entry and exit of bed. Retractable compression foam at foot of bed to accommodate frame length adjustments Non-powered system only, do not want option of connecting to other pumps within the institution to prevent confusion.
