Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about the July 27th, 2018 to Renovate the Main Kitchen at the Bath VA Medical Center. Project No. 528A6-15-614. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to renovate the main kitchen according to the plans and specifications prepared by Bancroft Architects and Engineers. Unless otherwise directed by the COR, work shall be performed in accordance with these construction drawings and specifications and other standards and regulations as detailed or specified. The General Contractor (G.C.) shall be responsible for all phases of the work and shall protect and maintain a safe work site with a minimum amount of disruption to the facility. Work shall include general construction, alterations, demolition, removal and disposal, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and any other work not specified here or in the contract drawings that is required to complete a fully functioning system at the end of the contract period. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5 M. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
