Description
This contract is for rotomilling work to pulverize and process native surface roadbeds in place to be performed on the Dixie National Forest, Fishlake National Forest, and the Manti La Sal National Forests located in Southern Utah. Type and hardness of roadbed material will vary and will likely contain large rocks and bedrock. This contract requires the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform rotomilling work in compliance with the terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications, including "Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads & Bridges of Federal Highway Projects" (FP-03 and/or FP-14, U.S. Customary Units). The Dixie National Forest is located in Southern Utah, with the Headquarters in Cedar City, Utah. The forest is divided up into 4 Ranger Districts administered by the Dixie National Forest, with District offices in St. George (Pine Valley District), Cedar City (Cedar City District), Panguitch (Powell District), Escalante (Escalante District). The Fishlake National Forest is located in south-central Utah, with its headquarters in Richfield, Utah. The forest is divided into four separate Ranger districts, with district offices in Fillmore (Fillmore District), Loa (Fremont River / Teasdale District), Beaver (Beaver District), and Richfield (Richfield District). The Manti-La Sal National Forest is located in south-eastern Utah, with its headquarters in Price, Utah. The forest is divided into four separate Ranger districts, with district offices in Ferron (Ferron/Price District), Ephraim (Sanpete District), Moab (Moab District), and Monticello (Monticello District). The combined project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Systems for Award Management database and have proper bonding capability before being eligible to accept an award. This source selection procurement consists of one solicitation with one award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). Term of the contract will be one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. Task orders will be firm fixed price. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Systems for Award Management (www.sam.gov) database and have proper bonding capability before being eligible to accept an award. The solicitation for this project will be available for download on or after July 25, 2018. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION.
