- In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is posted by the United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Acquisition Management Division, Acquisition Operations Branch for this procurement. This synopsis is to announce the Government ¿s intent to award a sole source contract to S.L. Ross Environmental Research Limited, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), S.L. Ross is the only one responsible source that is reasonably available. No other supplies or services offered by any other entity will satisfy the Bureau ¿s requirements. BSEE anticipates awarding a contract to S.L. Ross to support the Government ¿s requirement for environmental consulting services that consists of reviewing and incorporating peer review comments from a previously contracted project with BSEE. The place of performance for the anticipated contract will be located at the contractor ¿s site. Anticipated award date is no later than August 10, 2017. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this Notice is for ¿informational purposes ¿ only. However, any and all information received by the point of contact (POC) listed below; by close of business July 27, 2018 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
