- The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to: (1)Identify the breadth and depth of the marketplace for the developers and suppliers of Time-Division-Multiplexed (TDM)-to-Internet Protocol (IP) conversion solutions; (2)Obtain feedback from industry regarding the (3)capabilities TDM-to-IP conversion devices and other related devices available to meet the FAA s requirements; (4)Identify the range of TDM-to-IP conversion devices, in terms of functionality and performance that are capable of meeting the FAA s requirements; (5)Understand the cost and schedule implications of modifying or developing TDM-to-IP conversion devices in order to meet the FAA s requirements; and (6)Aid the FAA in developing acquisition strategy and specifications for a potential procurement of TDM-to-IP conversion devices.
