- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, Columbia Cascades Area Office has a requirement to improve and modernize Speelyi Beach Day Use Recreation Area. Work is located on Cle Elum Reservoir, approximately 8 miles northwest of Cle Elum, Washington in Kittitas County. Principal components of work include the following: demolishing and removing a concrete toilet building, septic vault, asphalt boat ramp and parking area; earthwork to raise the height of the parking area and boat ramp; furnishing and installing a 150 foot long concrete boat ramp; furnishing and installing a concrete sidewalk access ramp; furnishing and installing a precast concrete toilet building and septic vaults; paving the Day Use area with asphalt; striping and signage; riprap bank protection; and seeding disturbed areas. The construction period is expected to be approximately 210 days. This requirement will be a total small business set aside and issued as an invitation for bid. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the small business size standard, applicable to this project, is $36.5M in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. Bids will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. The order of magnitude for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be issued on or about June 5, 2018 at www.fedconnect.net. The solicitation will close approximately 30 days after its issuance.
