- This is the 15 day Pre-solicitation ONLY. The full Solicitation package will be posted after 7/2/2018. National Park Service (NPS), Fredericksburg National Military Park, VA. Is Requesting for Proposal (RFP): 140P4218R0029. The Work of the contract documents will include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Preparing site protection, parking and lay-down areas and restoring those areas upon completion of work 2. Demolition 3. Rehabilitating Masonry 4. Rehabilitating Metals 5. Rehabilitating Wood 6. Providing miscellaneous flashing and sealants 7. Rehabilitating Doors and Windows by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the rehabilitation of two greenhouses per the specifications of the forthcoming solicitation. This project is being solicited as full and open competition, no set-aside. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect after 7/2/2018. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management-in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220, Addition, alteration and renovation; building. The Size Standard is $36.5 M. The magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with your proposal. Payment Bond and Performance Bond are required within 10 days of award. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective bidders are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a proposal.
