The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) is sponsoring the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Beyond Phase II and Mentor-Protégé Training Week (BPIIMPTW18) conference. WHEN Aug. 14-16, 2018 WHERE Rosen Centre Hotel, 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819 REGISTER NOW! Register for the conference at http://eventdex.com/bpii-mptw18/. The registration site includes details about the venue, agenda, speakers and matchmaking hosts. The deadline for registering is Aug. 3, 2018. COLLABORATE. INNOVATE. TRANSITION. This will be an exciting week! Distinguished speakers will share insights that help small businesses develop innovative solutions and move SBIR technologies beyond Phase II. RESPECTED SPEAKERS Our excellent lineup of speakers includes the Honorable Kevin Fahey, DoD's Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, and Reza Rofougaran, a pioneer in wireless communications system design. In addition to outstanding speakers, this event provides an opportunity for small businesses to network with government subject matter experts and large prime contractors. Small businesses can meet potential mentors and explore opportunities and new initiatives in the development and commercialization of SBIR technologies. During matchmaking sessions, small businesses can meet key personnel from government and industry who support the DoD SBIR, Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF) and Mentor-Protégé programs. MATCHMAKING If you plan to participate in matchmaking, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to schedule matchmaking sessions. Small businesses can schedule up to five 10-minute matchmaking meetings. Requests for matchmaking meetings are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
