Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs Alexandria Veterans Health Care System in Pineville, LA is looking for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources capable of providing a Multiplex Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) System for rapid identification of pathogens in positive blood cultures; capable of meeting the following requirements: Specifications Multiplex PCR test system that integrates sample preparation, amplification, detection and analysis all in one system. Requires minimum hands-on-time and a turnaround time of approximately one hour. Random Access Assays must be FDA-cleared. Panels must include identification of positive blood cultures, gastrointestinal, respiratory and Meningitis/Encephalitis pathogens. Windows-based instrument control and data analysis software Barcode reader for data input LIS compatible Automated qualitative analysis and reporting Separate advanced analysis software Service Delivery and set up of the analyzer by a service trained representative must occur. Training at the facility on use and care of the analyzer must occur by a service trained representative.
