- **ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. ** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - VA-18-00089148, OR Remove and Replace 25 Ton AC Unit. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) has a requirement for the removal and replacement of a 25 Ton AC Unit. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to: replacing and installing at least one (1) twenty-five-ton 14 SEER rooftop AC unit with stainless steel drain pan and copper coated fins located at the rooftop of Bldg.5C. A Statement of Work (SOW) will define the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation when posted. All offerors are strongly urged to attend. Due to anticipated response and limited space, please limit the number of attendees in your group. Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings will be issued as attachments to the solicitation. The Long Beach VA Health Care System (LBVAHCS) Facilities Management Service Department requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, qualified supervision, engineering, and services for the removal and replacement of a 25 Ton AC Unit. This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: LONG BEACH VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (LBVAHCS): 5901 E. 7th Street Long Beach, CA 90822 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $15M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 45 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between $25,000 and $100,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in July, 2018. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively.
