Description

This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes ONLY and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing (size standard of 1,250 employees). Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office Gilbert, is seeking sources that can provide Censitrac Instrument Tracking Equipment matching the configuration below for the New Mexico VA Healthcare System located at 1501 San Pedro Drive SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The potential period of performance will be as follows: TBD Statement of Work This requirement is for the acquisition of Censitrac Instrument Tracking Equipment consisting of Censis Workstation PC, Thermal Transfer Barcode Printer, Camera and Stand Bundle and Honeywell cordless Scanner; used to access Censitrac application. Warranty: Standard Service Warranty Specific Tasks This requirement is for the acquisition of Censitrac Instrument Tracking Equipment consisting of Censis Workstation PC, Thermal Transfer Barcode Printer, Camera and Stand Bundle and Honeywell Cordless Scanner used to access Censitrac application; Brand name or equal; New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. This is a Brand Name or Equal Solicitation, part numbers/product codes referenced in the schedule are from Censis Technologies, Inc. Quotes must be for Censis Technologies, Inc. or Equal Equipment. Censitrac Instrument Tracking Equipment must have/be: Censis Workstation PC PC running Windows with Internet Explorer browser Used to access Censitrac application Various peripherals may be attached such as touch screens, bar code scanners, and instrument scanners. Small form factor with 1x Core i5 4590T/2 GHZ CPU equivalent or higher 4GB RAM 500 GB hard drive Bluetooth 4.0 Windows 7 Professional or higher, standard service warranty. Thermal Transfer Barcode Printer Printer can be attached locally to a PC and set up as a shared or network printer Attached with a USB connection, and drivers must be installed on the PC The printer must support ZPL language and 2xx dpi Printer must be able to print labels applied to containers, case carts, locations, equipment, scopes and peel packed items. Camera and Stand Bundle High-definition 2.0 camera Tripod-mountable 360-degree rotational USB Mounted to a stand with flexible gooseneck Threaded mount. Images can be attached to Censis Program Censitrac Honeywell Cordless Scanner Cordless bar code scanner with base USB connection Barcode scanner is compatible to scan barcoded labels for sterilization containers, case carts, locations, equipment and peel packed items. FIPS 140 compliant model is available.
