- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTEREST ONLY. THIS REQUEST DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, REQUEST FOR QUOTE, OR INVITATION FOR BID. THE INTENT OF THIS REQUEST IS TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL OFFERORS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC is seeking eligible firms capable of providing a workable strategy to assist SRS with disposition of a large portion of their existing fleet of Department of Energy owned mobile cranes. Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS) is seeking interest from any and all eligible firms who may be interested in supplying SRNS with a new, like new, or an alternative for similar scope/end state, 130-Ton Rough Terrain crane in exchange for a total of nineteen cranes; thirteen Rough Terrain Cranes, two Lattice Boom Cranes, two Truck Cranes, one All Terrain hydraulic crane, and one carry deck crane as described below. The like new cranes must be a late model, low hour unit with maintenance history and shall be inspected and approved by SRNS The supplier will be responsible for all labor and materials to dismantle and remove cranes from SRS, as well as delivery of new crane in accordance with SRS guidelines.
