- Intent to Sole Source The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives notice of intent to award a contract to Executive Development Associates (EDA)/Pearson TalentLens to provide workshop and training for Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education Chief Leadership Course (CLC) through a course-based training. Brief Description of requirement: Service to be provided: Executive Development Associates (EDA)/Pearson TalentLens will provide on-site ThinkNow! and Train-The-Trainer Workshop for the CLC. This will be a one day on-site instruction of both course where the contractor must remain on site until all training is completed to the Government's satisfaction. The students will interact with a professional performance coach and/or a content expert mentor who provides participant guides, handouts, and materials. Period of Performance: Training must be provided between 1 July 2018 and 30 September 2018. Best/preferred dates are between 13 - 22 August. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430- Professional and Management Development. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. If there are any other businesses that can provide these services, they must respond to this notice no later than 12:00pm, Central Standard Time (CST) on 25 July 2018. If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued to the Executive Development Associates/Pearson TalentLens. The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and also be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil. Those capable of meeting the above requirement are requested to provide the following information in their response: A.) Current capability that demonstrates your company's ability to meet the above requirement, B.) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1.
