BROWN Revision '-' Request for Proposals (RFP) EA-133M-18-RP-01771 PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR COMPLETE DETAILS. FY18 Dry Dock for the NOAA Ship RONALD BROWN. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, Norfolk, VA, on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations OMAO), will be soliciting for the dockside repairs to NOAA ship RONALD BROWN. The RONALD BROWN is 274 feet long overall, and its home port is Charleston, SC. Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform the following (including, but not limited to): BASE ITEMS: General Requirements; Misc. Steel Repairs; Engine Overhaul; Misc. Valves and Piping Repairs; Misc. Electrical Repairs; Misc. HVAC Repairs; Fire Fighting Systems Certification; Annual Lifesaving Equipment Inspections; Cargo Lift Maintenance and Testing; Door Renewals and Maintenance; Temporary Services; Generator Vibration Mount Renewals; Generator Controls Upgrade (RESERVED); Fire Detection System Renewal; Fire Damper Renewals; Heavy Lift Cranes Refurbishment; Staging Bay Roller Door Renewal; Bridge Window Wiper Renewals OPTION ITEMS: Weather Deck Pres. The forthcoming solicitation will include a liquidated damages clause. The performance period will be 93 calendar days, with a start date on or about October 23, 2018 and a completion date on or about January 23, 2018. The place of performance shall be the contractor's facility. The ship's transit time to and from the place of performance is not included in the specified performance period. There will be no ship inspections.
