- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to procure a total of 836 each Cylinder Sleeves, NSN 2815-01-547-1951, Part Number: PA12652771. Fairbanks Morse, Cage 7PZX0 is identified as the approved source of supply. There are no authorized substitutes for this item. This is the only item that meets performance and compatibility requirements. The solicitation number/identifier for this procurement is SPRMM1-18-Q-WK39 and is being issued as a request for quote. This RFQ is being issued under the Special Emergency Procurement Authority per FAR 5.202(a)(2). All responsible sources may submit a proposal/quotation for this exact item; or a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency for future procurements. This procurement is being conducted using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures authorized in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
