- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for the BEP Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, Texas. The BEP WCF is in need of Operation and Maintenance of the security equipment which includes scheduled preventive maintenance, unscheduled corrective maintenance, operations and maintenance of all sub-components (i.e., access control, intrusion detection, closed circuit TV), and other miscellaneous work. Under this requirement, the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and other associated services (i.e. delivery, transportation, training, and travel) necessary to plan, schedule, perform, provide operation, perform maintenance, reconfigure, re-engineer, monitor, and conduct emergency repairs as defined on the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for the anticipated award of a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract for the BEP Western Currency Facility. Please see attached DRAFT Performance Works Statement for full details. The Government will host a site visit at the BEP Western Currency Facility, located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth Texas 76131. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services and the size standard is $35.5 million. This requirement is a set-aside and is being issued as a 100% total small business set-aside. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IMPORTANT DATES UNDER THIS Notice: SITE VISIT FAR 52.237-1, SITE VISIT (APR 1984) Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. (End of provision) Due to the nature and complexity of this requirement, contractors are highly encouraged to attend a site visit to familiarize themselves with the facility. The site visit will take place at the BEP Western Currency Facility. The site visit will be conducted for all interested offerors promptly at 11:00 am CST Wednesday, 01 August 2018. Millie Cortes, Contracting Officer will host the site visit. Interested vendors who are confirmed for the visit shall meet at the BEP Western Currency Facility, 9000 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, Texas 76131 entrance no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the visit. Interested vendors shall meet at: Bureau of Engraving and Printing 9000 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, TX 76131 Note: Parking will be provided for this site visit.
