- CORRECT VERSION OF THE SF1449 SOLICITATION DOCUMENT *** This solicitation has been amended to include the correct versions of the SF 1449 and the Performance Work Statement. When reviewing this solicitation, offerors are responsible for ensuring that the correct documents are being reviewed. *** Synopsis Variable Height Tower Maintenance Services FA2823-18-R-4004 Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement for maintenance and repair services for the variable height tower. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $7.5 million. This requirement is being solicited for full and open competition. Any resulting contract will be a single award contract. An award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(2). The basis for the best value to the Government will include price and experience. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but is not limited to the following: all material, equipment, labor and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish all work in accordance with the Variable Height Tower Maintenance Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS will be provided with the solicitation at the time that it is posted to the Government Point of Entry. In general, the work includes semi-annual maintenance, annual maintenance, emergency repairs, and five year scheduled service. The period of performance will include one (1) base year with four (4) option years. The work is located at Eglin AFB, FL and its surrounding ranges. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Government Electronic Posting System www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 13 March, 2018. The PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 17 August, 2018. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receipt of offer. If the Offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM database accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov. It is recommended that prospective contractors register immediately in order to be eligible for award.
