- 17th Contracting Squadron, Bldg 707, 210 Scherz Blvd, Goodfellow AFB TX 76908-4705 intends to issue a solicitation to create a cause and determination trainer. The classification code for this acquisition is 6910 - Training Aids. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to create the trainer located at Goodfellow AFB. Work shall comply with government and commercial standards. Location, size and frequency needed for the requirement will be provided in the Statement of Work. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332311 and the size standard is 750 Employees. This requirement will be set-aside 100% to small business. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated delivery date will be 120 calendar days after date of award to include FOB Destination. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed-Price Contract to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. All responsible contractors may submit a quotation and will be considered by 17 CONS. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates or amendments to any documents. Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and clicking on Vendor Notification Service Area to register. The solicitation will be made via FedBizOps and made available on 18 July 18. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available the anticipated response due date will be on 20 August 18 with an award date of 15 September 18. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov prior to receipt of contract award.
