Description
New SOW Bat Season better defined. Summary of Changes: This amendment is issued to solicitation, FA4407-18-Q-3012, Scott Lake Landscaping & Cleanup, in order to facilitate questions identified during the site visit held on 09 July 2018. As a result of the site visit, 375 Contracting Squadron has deemed it to be in the best interest of the government to revise the initial Statement of Work (SOW) as well as the maps of each area. This amendment serves as notification to all interested parties that the SOW and Maps have been updated and redefined. The new close-out date of this solicitation shall be 24 July 2018 at 300pm CST and therefore all interested parties shall submit their respective quotes on or before this established time and date. If there are any questions or concerns to this amendment, interested parties shall contact TSgt Scott Ray at 618-256-9251 or by email at scott.ray@us.af.mil. Summary of Changes: 1. Maps: All maps have been updated and more precisely defined in order to facilitate square footage information for each area as well as better identifying boundaries of each area of responsibility. 2. SOW: Paragraph 1., Description of Work, added "All vegetation identified to be removed shall be removed from Scott AFB at contractor's expense." 3. SOW: Paragraph 1.1, Scope of Work, Previous SOW stated 18" to 30". Changed to 18" to 24". 4. SOW: Added line in paragraph 1.1 to read "Areas will be marked with spray paint and marked with wooded posts on-site for clear vision of contractor's area of responsibility." 5. SOW: Stump removal verbiage in paragraphs 1.2 - 1.6 (all areas of responsibility) changed from "Remove all stumps from the area" to "Contractor shall remove all stumps from the area with whatever means necessary to facilitate grounds maintenance (lawn mowing) and ensure ground is level upon completion of stump removal" 6. SOW: Added paragraph 1.2A "Bat Preservation Area" to identify work that MUST be performed after 01 October 2018. 7. SOW: Paragraph 1.6 "Area Five (5)" only requires dead vegetation (regardless of height) and stump removal of this area. ------------------------------- 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB, IL has determined to extend the closeout of solicitation in order to facilitate questions identified during the site visit held on 9 July 2018 at Scott AFB. Furthermore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the government to update the SOW along with original maps provided. ------------------------------- The 375th Contracting Squadron (PKB3) at Scott AFB, IL is contemplating an award to perform landscaping that will reduce future grounds maintenance costs associated with maintaining vegetative beds around Scott AFB facilities at the Scott Lake Recreation area. The work shall be performed in a manner that will maintain healthy grass and present a clean and neat appearance. Scope of Work defined in attached Statement of Work (SOW) and paragraph (vi), Description of requirements. The contractor shall provide all materials, vehicles, equipment, tools, supervision and labor necessary to perform the work defined within the Statement of Work. A site visit will be held for all interested parties on Monday, 09 July 2018 at Scott AFB, IL. Offerors shall contact the Contracting Officer, Ms. Marcia Wuebbels, 618-256-9308 or email marcia.wuebbels@us.af.mil by 3:00 p.m. CST on Friday, 06 July 2018 to confirm attendance and allow the Government sufficient time to assure your Base Pass is processed as TSgt Ray is unavailable during the scheduling of the site visit. The site visit begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. CST. Please allow sufficient time to obtain the pass from the Visitor Control Center for access to the Installation as there may be line(s) of vehicles accessing the Installation. All interested parties will meet in the Conference Room located at 375 CONS, Bldg. 50. With your quote, please provide Point(s) Of Contact (POC) with their business number and email address for acquisitions of same or similar type of service for evaluation of present/past performance purpose. If this is your first acquisition of this type, please indicate as such. We will need your consent to contact said POC(s). Please indicate consent with submittal of your quote.
