- The purpose of this Solicitation notice is to inform industry that Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Southwest Asia (NAVFAC EURAFSWA) is seeking potential firms capable of supplying 61 Truck Cargo Pickup Crew Cab to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. PROJECT INFORMATION: NAVFAC EURAFSWA requires the purchase of 61 pickup trucks broken out as follows: Purchase: Twenty-Nine (29)Truck Cargo Pickup Crew Cab (also known as double cab) 4x4 “ capable of rough terrain driving, Diesel fuel, Left hand drive (LHD), 5-6 speed Manual Transmission, 5 passenger, windows all sides, air conditioner. Purchase: Thirty-Two (32) Truck Cargo Pickup Crew Cab (also known as double cab) 4x2 “ Diesel fuel, Left hand drive (LHD), 5-6 speed Manual Transmission, 5 passenger, windows all sides, air conditioner. It is requested that interested sources submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages in length, single-spaced, 10 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services identified in the above project information. If you can meet all of the requirements for this project and the information in the questionnaire, please respond to this sources sought synopsis by email to Brian Griffin at brian.d.griffin@eu.navy.mil with a courtesy copy to Stephen Astwood at stephen.astwood@eu.navy.mil. Response must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on May 11, 2018. Late responses may be considered, however interested parties are advised that an acquisition strategy decision will be approved shortly after the deadline, and as such the Government reserves the right to disregard late responses.
