- This is a Synopsis, not a Solicitation. The Solicitation will be forthcoming. **All interested parties must comply with DD Form 254 - Contract Security Classification Specification.** Government's intent is to have the contractor design and build the audio visual system to meet the mission needs as described in the Statement of Work. TITLE: Pelco Audio Visual System GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The US Air Force Survival School facility located at Lackland AFB, TX requires the installation of digital data recording equipment and replacing the extensive Audio-Visual monitoring (A/V) suite which is incorporated into the facilities supporting operations and providing security and safety for the students. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing installation related to this purchase. The contractor shall install and test all components to replace a digital closed circuit surveillance and recording system at JBSA Lackland AFB, TX. There is currently a system in place that will be replaced with systems that run Pelco Video Expert Pro, Video Management System (VMS) software including Brand-Name Pelco cameras, work stations, decoders, and network video recorders, Cisco switches and Louroe microphones. The system will record classified training and will not be connected to the NIPR or SIPR network. Period of Performance: 60 Days ARO SET ASIDE: Small Business Set Aside NAICS Code: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334310 (Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 750 Employees. It is anticipated that the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or.exe.), and / or AutoCAD. More information concerning these viewers can be found on the FBO website. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Effective 01 Jan, 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires to be eligible for award, registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) must be current (legacy for On-line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) registrations).
