- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE POSTED 7-18-18 MCIEAST-MCB Camp Lejeune Contracting Department, has a requirement for a contractor provided Customized Structural Firefighting gear Brand name or equal to Morning Pride Coat, part number LTO-741G and Morning Pride Pant, part number LTO-741G. Estimated quantity for each item is 50 per option period. Exact specifications and customizations for each item will be provided in the solicitation. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with two one year option periods. The base period of performance will begin on or after 14 September 2018. The Government will solicit (M67001-18-Q-0025) and award a firm-fixed-price requirements contract in accordance using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award the quoter who represents the Best Value to the Government. Best Value will be determined by a review of quoters' responses to the evaluation criteria provided in the solicitation, on an all or none basis. This requirement is 100% small business set aside, the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 750 employees. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99, effective 15 June 2018 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20180629, effective 29 June 2018. The solicitation No. M67001-18-Q-0025 will be posted on or about 7 days after this posting and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. All responsible businesses may submit a quote, which will be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website. All prospective offers interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
