Description
This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (size standard of 1000 employees). Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office Gilbert, is seeking sources that can provide an Spectralis Tracking OCT System matching the configuration below for the New Mexico VA Healthcare System located at 1501 San Pedro Drive SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The potential period of performance will be as follows: TBD Statement of Work This requirement is for the acquisition, installation, and training of staff in the use of an Spectralis Tracking OCT System. Specific Tasks The Contractor shall provide any training or education, required to meet commercial standards related to use of an Spectralis Tracking OCT System; brand name or equal; New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. This is a Brand Name or Equal Solicitation, part numbers refenced in schedule are from L1 Enterprises. Quotes must be for L1 Enterprises or Equal Equipment. Holidays Normal business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding the following federal holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. (5) Does your company have a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract with General Services Administration (GSA) or the National Acquisition Center (NAC) or are you a contract holder with NASA SEWP (National Aeronautics and Space Administration / Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) or any other federal contract? If so, please provide the contract type and number. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this request for information. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
