- This notice is being published in accordance with FAR Part 5.2 requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source procurement contract and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 6.302, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The U.S. Naval Hospital, Guam intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract Award utilizing procedures cited in FAR 13.5 to International Biomedical, LTD. Located in 8206 Cross Park Dr Austin, Texas USA. Anticipated award date is 20 JULY 2018. Acquisition NAICS 339112. This Contract requirement is for a Pulseox Masimo Neonatal Transport Incubator with critical accessories which will be used to transport newborn patients in-house to the neonatal nursery in order to continue with critical care interventions to include respiratory and thermoregulation support while maintaining compliance with joint commission standards and in-house transport policy. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. This notice will close at 1 PM on Friday 20 JUL 2018, Guam time.
