- Attachments RFP Offerors are hereby notified that the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FY18-22 production of the MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS), including launchers, ancillary hardware, associated support equipment, and Aegis Modernization hardware in support of US Navy, AEGIS Ashore, and Allied Navy requirements N00024-18-R-5310 has been posted. IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for contract award, each company must have a SECRET facility clearance by the time of award. To be considered for contract award, all offerors must be a United States (US) company or an independent US subsidiary. However, subject to the applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of the solicitation, foreign contractors may act as subcontractors to U.S. prime contractors. The export of defense articles, defense services, and related technical data is subject to the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and requires the issuance of an export license by the U.S. Department of State.
