- SF18 REQUEST FOR QUOTE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-18-Q-0182 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to Engineering Design Team, Inc. 3423 NE John Olsen Ave., Hillsboro, Oregon 97124-5808, PCIe8 LX 3P 10G Card Sets listed on the attached Request for Quote. This purchase is required to satisfy fleet specific mission request related to National Security in direct support of current fielded equipment. The PCIe8 card sets are an integral part of an established carry-on equipment shipboard systems configuration. These systems are currently fielded on deployed fleet assets in which substantial development cost have already been made by the government. Please include shipping/freight cost to Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 30 July 2018, no later than 12:00 noon. EST. Questions and responses regarding this synopsis/solicitation may be submitted by e-mail to doritha.newman@navy.mil prior to the RFQ closing.
