- 2018 FT.MEADE RESERVOIR VAULT TOILET: The Bureau of Land Management South Dakota Field Office has a need to replace a damaged vault toilet. The vault toilet is located at Fort Meade Reservoir, which is approximately 2.0 miles northeast of Sturgis, South Dakota. The road providing access to the site is an asphalt road up until the final 1.5 miles of gravel road. It is the Government ¿s intention to replace this structure in its entirety with a new concrete vault toile. The contractor shall be responsible for removing the old vault toilet and providing/installing the new vault toilet. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for this request. All requirements shall be posted with the solicitation which is expected to be released on or around August 6, 2018. Work under this contract is located in Meade County, S.D. The period of performance is 60 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to begin early to mid-September, 2018. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238120. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $15.0 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for a contract greater than $30,000. Payment protection shall be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. Prospective contractors shall be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database or failure to submit all required quote information as identified in the upcoming solicitation may make contractor ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to rundlin@blm.gov at least seven (7) business days before closing. Email quotes will not be accepted. An organized site tour shall be held. Details will be included with solicitation posting.
