- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. This is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and does not commit the Government to award any contracts now or in the future. The Bureau of Land Management, Malta Field Office, has a requirement for intends to award a contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to repair five (5) reservoirs located in Phillips County, Montana approximately 61 miles south of Malta, Montana. Big D: ¿ If necessary, dewater reservoir and construction area. ¿ Excavate new spillway to the east of the existing spillway. ¿ Add fill to the top of the embankment. ¿ Plug the existing spillway across the head cut. ¿ Build dike between the existing and new spillway. ¿ Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding and placement of erosion control mats. Batosh: ¿ If necessary, dewater reservoir and construction area. ¿ Remove and stockpile existing riprap. ¿ Excavate spillway so that top of riprap is level with crest of the spillway. ¿ Fill cut with compacted embankment. ¿ Build dike along left side of spillway. ¿ Install geotextile on bottom and up sides of spillway. ¿ Spread stockpiled riprap and haul in additional riprap for the bottom and sides of spillway. ¿ Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding. Rotator Cup: ¿ If necessary, dewater reservoir and construction area. ¿ Relocate Class III (greater than 24 inch diameter) riprap from the center of spillway to the edges of the base of the spillway. ¿ Fill cuts with compacted embankment. ¿ Build dike along length of left side of spillway. ¿ Grade the length of the right side of spillway to a 3:1 to a height of four feet. ¿ Install geotextile fabric along both banks of spillway and center section currently without. ¿ Place riprap along both banks of spillway and center section. ¿ Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding. Rebate: ¿ If necessary, dewater reservoir and construction area. ¿ Fill cuts with compacted embankment. Finished surface shall be smooth. ¿ Build a dike along the left and right sides of the lower 100 feet of the spillway. ¿ Grade dike banks and existing banks of spillway to a smooth surface at a 3:1 slope. ¿ Install Flexamat erosion control mats along both banks for the length of the spillway and upper portion of spillway that does not currently have riprap. ¿ Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding. Spanky: ¿ If necessary, dewater reservoir and construction area. ¿ Relocate Class III (greater than 24 inch diameter) riprap from the center of spillway to the edges of the base of spillway. ¿ Fill cut with compacted embankment. ¿ Build a dike along the right side of the spillway. ¿ Grade dike banks and existing banks of spillway to a smooth surface at a 3:1 slope. ¿ Install Flexamat erosion control mats along both banks of spillway. ¿ Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of preparation of the soil for seeding. The government intends to award this contract as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 237990. The corresponding small business size standard is $36.5 million. This project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around August 02, 2018 at http://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect and https://www.fbo.gov.
