- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Long Beach Healthcare System, has a requirement to upgrade automatic doors in multiple locations throughout the Medical Center. A Firm-Fixed Price award is anticipated. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, certifications, drawings and qualified personnel to complete all tasks per the Statement of Work. Offerors must be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (www.vetbiz.gov) and currently registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127(d) as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about 3 August 2018.
