- Request for Quotation 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the FAR. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 4.1102, prospective offerors shall be System of Award Management (SAM) registered prior to award of contact. *Important: To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered (and have an active account) in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The CAGE Code is provided upon registration. For further information: https://www.sam.gov. For payment purposes, invoices will be submitted through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). For further information: https://wawf.eb.mil/ 3. Description: Walk-in Freezer/Refrigerator for Dining Facility- see Request for Quotation (RFQ). 4. This combined synopsis/solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, all questions pertaining to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation received prior to the RFQ closing date will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office, Vicenza, Italy. The RFQ and any amendments will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.FBO.gov). Responses must include at least the solicitation number; name, address, email and telephone number of offeror; warranty information; discount terms, proposed delivery date; and CAGE code. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. 5. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Award will be made to a single offeror on the basis of Price Only to the offeror's quote that meets the Technical Specifications of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) and any attached document. 6. Requested Delivery Date: within 4 weeks of contract award 7. Delivery Location (FOB: Destination): Per the Requirement Description: - US Army, 405th AFSB-LRC, Caserma Ederle, Viale della Pace 193 (Bldg. 304 - SSMO) 36100 Vicenza VI, Italy Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for 25 July 2018. Vendors shall meet at the main gate for each location and will be escorted to the applicable site. This is the planned schedule for Walk-in Freezer/Fridge: 14:30 PM CET at Caserma Ederle - SSMO. On the same date, if interested, vendors can also attend the Site Visit for Solicitation W912PF-18-Q-0033 for Dining Facility (DFAC) Equipment before this site visit. 10:00 AM Central European Time (CET) at Caserma Del Din - DFAC 13:00 PM CET at Caserma Ederle - Curry DFAC 8. Applicable clauses: The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. Applicable provisions and clauses are listed under the RFQ. 9. Quotes are due on 6 AUG 2018, 10:00 AM Central European Time (CET). All questions/inquiries must be submitted in writing to the contract specialist via electronic mail (e-mail).
