- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) for a publication in the official "Public Health Reports" journal. ASPPH is the only vendor that can publish articles in the Public Health Reports journal, which is the official journal of the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service. This contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, all responses received within three (3) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All vendors/prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to an award of a federal contract.
