- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION. It is an avenue to identify organizations with the expertise and capability to perform the work. Responses will be used in determining set-aside status. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Tree Stump and Root Removal - Lucky Peak Dam and Lake This will be a firm fixed-price construction contract located at Lucky Peak Dam and Lake, Boise County, Boise, Idaho. Estimated construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Payment bonds or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This contract removes the stumps from nine (9) Spruce trees and one (1) deciduous tree (specie unknown) located along the toe of Lucky Peak Dam, east of Boise, ID. The trees were previously removed, leaving the stump and rootballs. Work includes, but not limited to: 1. Excavating and disposing of the stumps, rootball and existing soil. 2. Backfilling and compacting the excavated area with ¾" minus base course material. 3. Reseeding the disturbed as necessary There is approximately 68 CY of soil and vegetation debris to remove and 68 CY of base course to backfill. All on-site work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1). A site visit will be offered. Only ONE site visit will be offered. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ONLY THOSE FIRMS WHO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING WILL EFFECT THE SET-ASIDE DETERMINATION: A.) Provide a list of no more than three current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature to that listed in the Summary of Scope of Work. For each project submitted, provide a brief narrative statement of the work involved, your firm's role in the project, the dollar value and the completion date. B.) A list of references for each of the projects submitted in A.) above. (Include the point of contact, title, phone number and email address.) C.) Provide a statement that your firm intends to submit an offer on the project when it is advertised. D.) Provide a statement of your firm's bonding capacity. A statement from your surety is NOT required. E.) Cage Code and DUNS number. F.) Provide a statement of your firm's business size (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), small disadvantaged, or woman-owned) with regards to the NAICS code listed above.
